Smurfit Kappa Opens Latest Experience Center in Russia

Smurfit Kappa opened its latest Experience Center in Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad Region in Russia.

The Smurfit Kappa Experience Centers provide a place for customers to get hands-on experience of how packaging impacts every step of the supply chain. With state-of-the-art exhibitions, store visualizers and inspiration rooms, the Experience Centers have played an integral part in nurturing talent and innovation at the company.

The opening was attended by Pim Wareman, CEO Corrugated North East Europe; Arco Berkenbosch, VP Innovation and Development; Patrik Strom, managing director Smurfit Kappa Russia; Olga Rudova, sales and marketing director Smurfit Kappa Russia; and customer representatives.

“Experience Centers all over the world allow us to demonstrate our best practices and share our global experience,” Berkenbosch said. “We believe it to be an incredible advantage to see various packaging production stages, solve challenges in a real time manner and to be inspired by what others have done before you.”

“A very important thing in packaging production is practical experience enabling one to evaluate various solutions quickly and clearly,” Strom added. “In our new Experience Center, our clients will get answers to all their questions related to packaging. They will be able to find a packaging solution together with Smurfit Kappa specialists facilitating their business development and sales growth”.
