Smartrac Showcases Solutions That Create ‘Internet of Your Things’ at Retail’s Big Show

On the occasion of NRF’s annual event in New York, January 14-16, 2018, Smartrac showcases its latest product innovation – Circus Tamper Loop tags specifically designed for tamper detection and authentication via NFC-enabled smartphones – alongside its range of innovative retail-oriented solutions that will be presented in dedicated live demo areas.
 
Market partners Temera and Blue Bite will also be present at the stand and showcase their latest solutions, which re-confirms Smartrac’s focus to strengthen and expand its partnerships and alliances in the retail segment. 
 
At booth 1675, retailers and brand owners can learn how existing products are turned into ‘Digital Product Identities’ by embedding NFC/RFID intelligence into them, and how data gathered from these products can be integrated into current digital processes and analytics. Smartrac is also presenting an innovative NFC tag: Circus Tamper Loop. These NFC tags are based on the Smartrac Circus product family and retain their basic small form factor, but come with a tamper-loop extension to the established antenna design. This loop enables advanced “digital seal” functionality for smart packaging and brand protection. The design of the loop can be customized to suit individual customer requirements, and can be adapted to fit a wide variety of packaging formats – from boxes to blister packs to bottles. Circus Tamper Loop is available in wet and paper-tag delivery formats.
