Tuesday’s Printed Electronics Symposium will be the last, and will be replaced by the FP3 – functional printing, process and products – Conference, SGIA Board of Directors Incoming Chairman Edward Cook, Jr. said during a lunchtime press conference.

“SGIA has never been this busy as long as I’ve been around it,” Cook said. “SGIA is really, really growing.”

The conference is designed for CEOs, business leaders and thought leaders, per SGIA, adding that FP3 “combines a robust, peer-reviewed agenda with extensive networking possibilities including a trade show component.”

Three of the main focal points of FP3 are:

  • Industrial technologies;
  • Business strategies;
  • Printed electronics
FP3 is scheduled for June 4-6 at the Westin Chicago Northwest in Itasca, Ill.

“The keyword for FP3 is innovation. If it’s an emerging technology, this is where you’ll learn about it,” said Cook.
