Several Changes at Sun Chemical’s Colors Group

Scott Jacobson has been appointed corporate vice president and group managing director of the Colors Group at Sun Chemical Corporation, reporting to Peter Ludwig, executive vice president and general manager. He also will continue to perform his current responsibilities in the company’s global cosmetics business.
    
Mr. Jacobson will assume responsibility for managing business relative to Sun’s North American merchant ink sales, fluorescent pigments and Predisol preparations manufactured in New Brunswick, NJ. Mr. Jacobson has been with Sun Chemical since 1984.
    
Sun Chemical Corporation also appointed David Thompson corporate vice president of the Colors Group, reporting to Mr. Ludwig.
    
In this new position, Mr. Thompson is responsible for the North American operations of Sun Chemical’s pigments business within both the pigments and dispersions divisions. Mr. Thompson joined Sun Chemical in 1977.
    
Maurice M. Carruthers has been named vice president and general manager of the Sun Chemical’s Colors Group. He is responsible for Sun’s North American merchant ink business, and will report to Mr. Jacobson. Mr. Carruthers joined Sun Chemical in 1976.
