Screen Americas has announced that the company will be exhibiting innovative inkjet technologies at the 2015 edition of SGIA Expo that significantly expand printers’ production capabilities and strengthen their responsiveness to ever-changing customer priorities. In booth #4617, November 4-6 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Screen will demonstrate the Truepress Jet W3200UV HS with flatbed/roll-to-roll capability. For true versatility, a shop can equip the high-speed wide-format printer with the 126-inch roll-to-roll option to deliver high-quality production-class printing on both sheeted and roll-fed substrates. The easy-to-use system can be purchased with a new printer or retrofitted to an existing model in the field. The operator can switch from a fast flatbed into a fast roll-fed printer in the time it takes to walk around the machine. Once the table is locked, the printer effectively converts into roll mode. Live demonstrations and numerous print samples available to booth visitors will emphasize the exceptional precision, efficiency and flexibility of the Truepress Jet W3200UV HS, including its ability to produce smooth tints, vivid colors and sharp 4-point text at the full machine speed of 1,615 square feet per hour. In addition, five-layer and seven-layer backlit and day/night graphics and accurate 75 lpi lenticular products will showcase the various high-value graphics that the Truepress Jet W3200UV HS can output. The Truepress Jet W3200UV is available in both standard (914.9 square feet per hour) and high-speed (1,615 square feet per hour) versions. Users can upgrade from the Truepress Jet W3200UV to the Truepress Jet W3200UV HS as the needs of their business grows. The Truepress Jet W3200UV HS prints onto rigid and flexible media up to 125.9 x 62.9 inches in size and up to a maximum thickness on 1.9 inches. The printer accommodates premium-margin jobs, such as exhibition graphics and retail signage, as well as posters, product decoration, architectural signage and backlit displays. It is ideal for short-run, high-impact sign and display work that would otherwise run on a screen press. The Truepress Jet W3200UV HS features six colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan and light magenta) plus two white ink channels. It has 48 color heads and 16 white heads. Different print modes selected according to the requirements of the finished product suit all applications. Text as fine as 4 points normal and 6 points reversed are sharp and legible in all modes. Workflow, color management and image file processing are controlled via leading graphic arts-focused solution providers, including Wasatch and Caldera.
