SCHOTT Solar announced that it is streamlining its North American sales operations. To better serve the North American market, the company will be opening regional sales offices in San Jose, CA and Elmsford, NY. The regional sales offices will be supporting SCHOTT Solar’s newly-opened flagship manufacturing facility in Albuquerque, NM. The company’s Albuquerque site, effective with this announcement, has become the North American headquarters for SCHOTT Solar, Inc.

SCHOTT Solar is relocating the company’s sales administration, sales operations and customer service departments from its Roseville, CA office to the company’s production site in Albuquerque. SCHOTT Solar’s existing office in Roseville, CA will be closing at the end of September.

SCHOTT Solar’s new east coast sales office, just outside New York City, is strategically positioned to address the rapidly emerging markets in the region. The new San Jose sales office, located next door to its sister company, SCHOTT Moritex, is well positioned at the heart of silicon valley.

“By repositioning our U.S. sales operations we are creating a footprint that we believe will best meet the market, and our customer’s needs,” said Mark Finocchario, president and CEO of SCHOTT Solar, Inc.

SCHOTT Solar’s US sales offices are responsible for bringing the high-quality products produced in the company’s flagship Albuquerque facility to the North American market. SCHOTT Solar recently announced their PV modules now have a 25 year warranty and produce power at or better than their specified rating at the time of production.

SCHOTT Solar’s Poly modules are manufactured in Albuquerque, NM from domestic and foreign components. Modules from SCHOTT Solar qualify as a domestic end product and comply with the Buy American Act (BAA), the Trade Agreement Act (TAA), and the America Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
