Sakata Inx Corporation has begun collaborating with Jiangsu Brivan Electronics Technology Co., LTD. (Brivan) toward building a strategic partnership centered on printing inks.
The two companies will collaborate extensively, from research and development to manufacturing and sales, in fields related to environmentally friendly inks, industrial inkjet inks, printable photoresists, and materials related to AI smart displays. They will also cooperate in agent sales of semiconductor materials in the Chinese domestic market.
Sakata Inx and Brivan will combine the high-performance ink technologies and photosensitive material technologies possessed by each, aiming to strengthen the business foundations and expand the market in the field of high-performance materials. Through mutual use of each other’s strengths, the two companies will strive to create new value and achieve sustainable growth in the Chinese market.
Sakata Inx has extensive business experience in the global market, in the fields of various environmentally friendly inks, industrial inkjet inks, and display-related materials.
Meanwhile, Brivan is focused on researching, developing, and manufacturing photosensitive materials for displays as China’s leading company in the development and commercial production of black matrix resists, thus advancing technological innovation in the field of new displays.
Going forward, the two companies will jointly develop new materials by integrating their ink and photosensitive material technologies and will proceed with market deployment by leveraging the sales networks of both markets.
Sakata Inx will support Brivan in developing technologies through its global technology network, while Brivan will help Sakata Inx products succeed in the Chinese market by leveraging the customer base it has developed in China.
By developing high-performance materials integrating ink technologies and photosensitive material technologies, the two companies will provide customers in the fields of displays and high-performance industrial printing with solutions featuring lower environmental impact, stable supply, and cost-competitiveness.
