Russell Joyce Named New President at XSYS Print Solutions

After eight years as president and general manager of the narrow web leading company XSYS Print Solutions, Ewald Draaijer has decided to leave the company to pursue other activities.             
    
During his tenure, Mr. Draaijer has led the division’s expansion into new markets through strong organic growth, a couple of JVs and an acquisition. He has been instrumental in creating a global presence and building XSYS Print Solutions into the market leader.
    
“It has been a fantastic time, but it is time for me to pursue other activities,” said Mr. Draaijer. ”I’m most proud of the team of entrepreneurial and innovative people I’ve had the benefit of being part of. We have created a truly global team which provides unequalled local technical support that constantly drives the business by providing immediate answers to our customer’s problems.  The focus and dedication of our people plays an important role in the responsiveness we offer our customers.”  
    
Mr. Draaijer will be succeeded as XSYS president by Russell Joyce, who is currently vice president and general manager for Europe, Middle East, Africa and South America. Mr. Joyce began in the ink industry in 1991 in England. He joined the ANI narrow web group in 1997 and has held both technical and market development roles since. He has been instrumental in the continued growth of the XSYS business in his region and under his leadership, the group’s market share has grown substantially.

We will continue to strengthen the one-stop ink shop concept for the narrow web industry that masters all techniques for narrow web label and packaging printing.”
