Ricoh Awarded Gold Rating by EcoVadis for Sustainability Practices

This places inkjet specialist Ricoh among the top 5% of companies assessed in its industry in terms of sustainability performance.

Ricoh Company, Ltd. has been awarded a Gold rating in the sustainability survey conducted by EcoVadis. This recognition places Ricoh among the top 5% of companies assessed in its industry in terms of sustainability performance.

Established in 2007, EcoVadis is the world’s most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings focused on corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, working to help companies improve their environmental and social practices through their global supply chains.

Ricoh’s commitment, especially in the areas of “Environment” and “Sustainable Procurement”, was highly recognized in this survey, a testament to Ricoh’s proactive approach to addressing environmental management and sustainable procurement activities in collaboration with suppliers.

In 2019, Ricoh became the first Japanese company to participate in the Business for Inclusive Growth (B4IG) initiative to tackle inequality in workplaces and supply chains. It joined the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) in the same year, which promotes social responsibility in global supply chains.
