Reichhold Acquires Millennium Polymer

Reichhold, Inc., Research Triangle Park, N.C., announced Sept. 26 that it has acquired the unsaturated polyester resin business of Millennium Polymer, a Houston, TX resin supplier.
    
“This acquisition further solidifies Reichhold’s global leadership position as the world’s largest supplier of unsaturated polyester resins for the composites industry,” said Julia Harp, Reichhold global composites senior vice president. “We are very excited to welcome Millennium’s customers to Reichhold and look forward to growing this business by providing total solutions to our new customers.”
     
With 18 manufacturing facilities in 11 countries, Reichhold and parent company Dainippon Ink & Chemical (DIC) produce over 1 billion pounds of resins and gel coats each year.
