Q-Cells SE Elects New Supervisory Board Member

At the Annual General Meeting of Q-Cells SE, the approximately 170 shareholders and shareholders’ representatives in attendance approved all points on the agenda with large majorities.

Further, the Annual General Meeting elected Prof. Eicke R. Weber, who was initially appointed to the Supervisory Board by court order, as a new member of the Q-Cells Supervisory Board with more than 99 per cent of the vote. Prof. Weber is director of the Freiburg-based Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE, Europe’s largest institute for solar energy research, and since July 2008 has been a member of the Board of Directors of the international sector association SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International).
