Pulse Roll Label Products Ltd. kicked off 2016 with the announcement of two new appointments to support its business in both the international and UK market. The company has appointed George Lyle as GM, Asia-Pacific, reflecting the company’s strategy to continue expansion of its international business. Lyle will be responsible for managing and developing Pulse Roll Label Products’ business in the Asia-Pacific region and will play a leading role in driving forward the company’s growth in this part of the world. Lyle previously held the senior executive position of VP Packaging and Narrow Web Asia at Flint Group. “Asia-Pacific is the largest and fastest growing region in the global label market and offers tremendous opportunities for us,” Gary Seward, managing director, Pulse Roll Label Products Ltd., said. “This senior appointment plays a vital part in our strategy to secure new business in attractive growth markets. George brings a wealth of knowledge and industry expertise that will be invaluable for us in terms of supporting our growth in this region, and having George on-board will ensure we can take full advantage of the market potential.” Pulse Roll Label Products also announced the appointment of Darren Gillespie as technical service manager, who will provide technical support to the company’s customers located in the North of England. Gillespie brings more than 30 years’ experience and technical expertise in the industry with a strong background in inks and coatings across both conventional and digital printing applications. Gillespie will support Mark Baines, who joined the company last year in the role of technical sales manager (UK, North). “Darren’s appointment will strengthen our UK team, as we build the foundations to ensure continued success in our domestic market,” Seward said. Mikaela Harding also joined the company in the latter part of 2015 in the Technical Department as technical service manager supporting customers in the South of England. And in October 2015, Curt Rose-Innes was appointed operations manager at the company’s UK-based manufacturing facility in Bristol.
