PDC Introduces New Wristbands Collection for Venues and Events

PDC unveiled this season’s new wristbands collection, including an expanded Expressions pre-designed wristband line, Glow in the Dark wristbands, Woven Bar Code wristbands and new colors of both vinyl wristbands and direct thermal wristbands.

Fourteen new designs and more than 30 new color options have been added to PDC’s Expressions wristband line. Now, customers can choose from more than 100 stock designs and color combinations to produce a custom look without a custom price.

New designs include Aliens, Animal Faces, Beach, General Admission, Giraffe, Houndstooth, Leopard, Liberty, Music, Rodeo, Tiger, Under 21, and Video Game. Tytan-Band Expressions, constructed from DuPont Tyvek, feature a strong adhesive closure with tamper cuts that will shred if the wristband is compromised to prevent transferring. Providing maximum security and durability, waterproof Superband Expressions are constructed of resilient, stretch-resistant plastic for multi-day use. Additional security is provided via a locking, single-use snap that prevents transfer.

“While most pre-designed artwork from other companies consists of more generic and easily copied clip art, PDC’s Expressions wristband’s creative and distinctive patterns not only look great, but they also help deter counterfeit and copy cat wristbands from sneaking into events unnoticed, ” said Edwin Baljeu, sales and marketing manager for PDC.

The new Woven Bar Code wristband integrates PDC’s innovative auto ID technology with a woven fabric design, which is popular among event planners and patrons. Using a slide-on bar code tag, the technology is particularly useful for admissions, concessions, ticketing, and cashless point-of-sale applications to ensure positive identification, prevent fraud, and improve operational efficiencies. The durable yet comfortable wristbands are constructed from nylon and cotton materials and can be customized with up to six spot colors to complement even the most intricate logos and patterns. The wristband’s unique patent-pending closure cannot be removed without damaging the band to prevent transfer among patrons.

New Glow in the Dark vinyl wristbands offer the “wow factor” for authorized guests at evening events, outdoor venues, bars, and nightclubs as the wristbands glow and stay illuminated for up to eight hours. These unique wristbands, built from multi-layered vinyl for superior strength, can be customized with company logos, text, and serial numbers to help promote branding for any event and to provide a keepsake souvenir for guests.

Several new colors of both PDC’s vinyl and thermal wristband lines are now offered, inspired by customer recommendation. The new thermal ScanBand solid features print-on-demand bar coding and new and improved tamper cuts that prevent reuse and transfer. Four new vinyl wristband colors – including cherry red, honey gold, platinum, and royal blue – are offered in several different styles.
