OE-A Presents Awards During LOPEC 2014 Dinner

Honors companies for latest advances in the field of organic and printed electronics

One of the highlights of LOPEC is the awards dinner, in which industry leaders select some of the most innovative projects they have seen this year.

The printed electronics industry has seen many new prrojects during the past year, and LOPEC has select four innovative products for this year’s demonstrator competition honorees:

• PolyIC & Co. GmbH – “Multi Touch Sensor for Smart Phones” (Best Prototypes and New Products)

• University of Applied Sciences Munich and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo – “Flexible Timer for Rough Environments” (Best Freestyle Demonstrator)

• Project BatMat – “Fully Printed Batteries” (Best Publicly Funded Project):

• University of Applied Sciences HMKW – “Printed Electronics in Packaging” (Best Design Competition)

LOPEC 2014 also hosted its Start-up Forum, where innovative companies presented their technologies. Two companies received LOPEC prestigious awards:

• Dr. Demoder Redd, Argil – (Best Business Case)

• Prof. Masayuki Kamehara, Collodial Ink – (Most Impactful Technology/Product)
