New EFI Fiery proServer Offers Smart Ink Saving Feature for Digital Ceramic Tile Decoration

At the recent Expo Revestir, São Paolo, and Indian Ceramics Ahmedabad international exhibitions, EFI showcased its latest Fiery technology update for Cretaprint ceramic inkjet printers. Available to users this month, the new proServer for Cretaprint 2.0 helps customers retain their competitive edge by producing superior-quality designs faster, with improved colour management and reduced ink costs.

The new product helps boost productivity, improves color precision and provides important economic benefits for ceramic tile manufacturers. A new Smart Ink Saving feature incorporates users’ actual ink costs to calculate the most affordable ink combination possible for each pixel of a design. A new CMYK+spot color mode on the proServer simplifies editing tasks without limiting the product’s full technical capabilities.

In addition, the Fiery proServer also plays an important role in the complete EFI Cretaprint ecosystem of advanced inkjet printers, Cretacolor inks and server technologies.
