New Digital Ink Line Developed by Nazdar

Nazdar has developed the NDI series of digital inks specifically for wide and super-wide format ink jet printers, including machines from NUR, Vutek, Signtech and Gretag. The initial product launch includes five different digital ink series – the NDI 100 series airbrush inks for Vutek printers; the NDI 200 series airbrush inks for Signtech Powerjet printers; the NDI 300 series for NUR Blueboard, Outboard and Wideboard printers; the NDI 400 series piezo digital inks for Vutek 3300/5300 printers; and the NDI 500 series digital ink for the Raster Graphics DSP Arizona printer. An additional ink series for the Salsa eight-color printer is currently in final beta testing and will be available by the end of the year.
    
“NDI digital inks offer an expanded color gamut designed to meet the requirements of POP and promotional display graphics applications,” said Dan Wenger, Nazdar Digital’s national sales manager. “The colors are really bright and long lasting. Our combination of resin systems with weather-tested pigments provides outdoor durability of up to two years on qualified media without the need for clearcoating or over-lamination.”
    
NDI inks come with a full warranty stating that if NDI inks are ever proven to be the cause of a printer breakdown, Nazdar Digital will provide reimbursement for costs required to repair damage to the ink train. “We’re confident that we’ve developed an extremely high quality line of digital inks, but we’re also very aware of the concerns in the market about converting to third-party inks,” said Peter Walsh, Nazdar’s vice president of marketing. “We think it’s important that our customers know that the experience and commitment to quality of the entire Nazdar organization stand behind our digital inks.”
