Nazdar Ink Technologies announced earlier this year that 9600 Series Solvent Screen Ink will no longer be manufactured due to a change in raw material availability. Enough raw material was expected to be available to manufacture 9600 Series through the end of the year; however, unexpected large orders of 9600 items have depleted Nazdar’s raw material. Therefore, Nazdar cannot produce new 9600 Series ink, only sell any product that remains in inventory.

Nazdar’s Technical Service group has performed extensive evaluations to compare 8400 Series to 9600 Series to make replacement recommendations. The overall findings indicate 8400 Series performs good or better in all areas evaluated. The 9600 Series is used in a wide range of applications, including its intended use for printing on untreated polyester films for nameplate and insert-mold applications. 8400 Series Solvent Screen Ink, has been used in nameplate and insert-mold applications for over 17 years.
