Mirjam Theelen Receives TNO Excellent Researcher 2017

At the start of this year, TNO awarded the prize for the Excellent Researcher 2017 to Mirjam Theelen. This prize is awarded every year within TNO for scientific research with impact. Theelen works within the Solliance programs and conducts research into the aging behavior and longevity of CIGS thin-film solar cells.
 
The jury praised Theelen for her important scientific contributions that, as applications, find their way into the market for CIGS solar cells and thus have a major impact on society. In the world of solar cells, Theelen is a much sought-after speaker and a valued expert for the industry.
