Mimaki USA introduced the Mimaki JV200 Series of eco-solvent roll-to-roll printers. The JV200-130 model will be displayed in the Mimaki USA booth #3536 at the ISA Sign Expo, April 23-25, in Las Vegas. The Mimaki JV200 Series of eco-solvent, roll-to-roll printers can easily produce indoor and outdoor display graphics and vehicle wraps. These entry-level models, available in 54- and 64-inch widths, include the industry’s best outdoor color durability, the latest software, and up to 8 color inks to provide the best entry-level value on the market, the company reports. The JV200 Series also includes a three-year warranty. This series meets the needs of print service providers requiring an entry-level printer that can fit into a relatively tight space and act as their universal printing device. These models can print indoor and outdoor graphics with ease and generate all types of decals and stickers, wraps, banners, and posters. The JV200 Series gives vehicle wrap shops an extended gamut printer at an affordable price along with best-in-class quality. It is ideal for smaller shops if planning to use an external cutter or a lamination workflow. Key features of the JV200 Series include: • Exceptional print quality: The single Mimaki 330 printhead technology delivers outstanding printed images, and the printheads are covered under a three-year warranty. • Reliable production: With standard mode, sellable print speeds of up 183 square feet (170 square meters) per hour, the JV200 Series offers the highest standard print speeds for an entry-level device. • Easy to use: The JV200 Series includes a simple design that is easy for anyone to use. A wide opening cover enables easy access, an upward-facing panel provides easy operation, and a single printhead means easy maintenance. • New inkset available in up to 8 colors: The JV200 Series is compatible with newly-developed Mimaki original SS22 inks that offer industry-leading outdoor weather resistance and maintain vivid colors. Available in Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Orange, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, and Light Black, users can print in dual 4-color (M, C, Y, K, K, Y, C, M) or 8-color (M, C, Y, K, Lk, Or, Lc, Lm) modes. A bulk ink option is also available. • Mimaki PICT: This cloud-based printer status monitoring tool helps customers improve the efficiency of their printing operations and production management. • Mimaki Remote Access: This remote access tool enables information to be collected and the JV200 printer panel to be operated while away from the printer. • Simple Create software: This design software enables users to quickly and easily create print-and-cut data without the need for specialized applications. It offers simple tools for creating designs and cutlines, as well as direct output from the software. The JV200 Series is expected to be available for order from authorized Mimaki representatives beginning in the second quarter of 2025.
