La Cartonera Lucentina Invests in HP PageWide C550

La Cartonera Lucentina, a family-owned sheet plant, announced its purchase of an HP PageWide C550 Press, to meet the growing demand for versatile, high-quality, and sustainable corrugated packaging in Spain.

Acquiring and installing the new industrial-scale HP PageWide C550 Press builds on La Cartonera Lucentina’s expansive digital print offering with high-graphic retail packaging and corrugated display production using its HP Scitex 17000 press.

La Cartonera Lucentina offers in-house graphic and structural design, flexographic and digital printing and converting to help customers develop unique and creative packaging and display solutions.

The HP PageWide C550 built on HP Thermal Inkjet and water-based technologies, enables high-quality production of a wide range of corrugated packaging applications including coated and uncoated sheets, at a constant speed of 90 lm/m. Expanding its digital print offering means La Cartonera Lucentina is improving its existing flexo presses’ efficiencies and reducing production lead times.
