Kwang Myung Ink said it is increasing its R&D resources by appointing Print Business Solutions Ltd as its global business development team.

Founded in 1976 and located in Busan, South Korea, KMI is one of the leading offset ink manufacturers in Asia. KMI offers high-quality inks for sheetfed, heatset and coldset print applications.

KMI Founder/Chairman Lee Nam Kyu and his son, company president Jason Lee, declared two initiatives:

  • The increase of R&D resources and capabilities, in order to enlarge its inks product-portfolio, especially in the UV segment;
  • The appointment of PBS to drive its global business development, developing and supporting a global dealer network.
“We see a significant opportunity to expand into new geographies and into new product segments,” Jason Lee said. “Our driver for success will always remain our focus on product quality and lean cost management.”

“Leveraging KMI’s large product-portfolio together with a recognized dealer network, we will be offering a very attractive product and service package to offset printers globally,” said Romain Boulot, president of PBS.
