Kao Collins Debuts XBar at Print18

Kao Collins will debut the Kao Collins XBAR print module and controller at Print18, which takes place Sept. 30-Oct. 2 in Chicago.  
 
The Kao Collins XBAR print module utilizes Samba technology to produce high-quality images on everything from porous bond to high-gloss coated stock at speeds up to 1000 fpm (300 mpm).
 
The system can also be configured to print on other substrates like foils.
 
The Kao Collins XBAR controller, allows customers to integrate multiple printhead technologies on a single platform, eliminating the need for multiple controllers dedicated to different printhead types. In addition, the system can be upgraded to drive future printheads- extending the useful life of existing equipment, while providing an upgrade path into the future.
 
For those who are unable to attend Print18, Kao Collins will demonstrate the XBAR at its Cincinnati, OH showroom.
