Featuring Roland printer technology
October 23, 2014

Director, Executive Internal Communications, GAF
At this year’s SGIA Expo, INX International Ink Co. is featuring a Roland printer technology preview of RXV eco solvent wide format inks, highlighting the ESC and MED inks that have enjoyed success since being introduced at last year’s show, and demonstrating its digital capability to produce specialized packaging with the CP100 digital cylindrical printer. “The challenge with the SGIA audience is to find the right type of products. In recent years we’ve been fortunate with the choice of products we have promoted at this show and how well they have been received in the marketplace,” said Susie Mendelssohn, North American sales manager and international marketing manager for INX Digital. “By showcasing our ESC and MED wide format inks, we’re hoping to strike lightning two years in a row,” Mendelssohn added. “Just like with our RXV technology preview and recent new H76 and IOS ink introductions, ESC and MED are designed to work with specific printers. These TRIANGLE brand wide format products are very cost effective and will benefit any operation. Coupled with the tremendous advantages the CP100 printer brings to the table, SGIA Expo visitors will have plenty of options that will help their businesses flourish.” The high performance RXV inks work in tandem with several Roland color printers such as the Roland Soljet Pro 4 series – which includes the XR-640 and XF-640 – as well as the VersaEXPRESS and VersaCAMM VSi series. Both color and chemically compatible with the Eco-Sol MAX 2 OEM inks, INX says that RXV offers a neutral balanced grey-scale that is equal to OEM ECO inks. The alternative eco solvent ESC inkjet inks work in conjunction with the Epson Stylus GS6000 commercial outdoor printer and the Epson SureColor series printers to produce outdoor banners, posters and tradeshow graphics. It also offers added value for use indoors. MED inks are designed to work with the Mimaki 3042 UV LED flatbed desktop printer. More flexible than Mimaki LH100 series inks, MED is available in six colors plus white, and is compatible with Ricoh Gen 4 print heads. The CP100 also relies on Xaar patented Through-Flow technology that is capable of printing 7 drop sizes ranging from 6-42 pl. With up to 720 x 1000 dpi resolution and using environmentally friendly inks, it can produce proofs and prototypes in a matter of seconds.
