SAKATA INX, together with INX International Ink Co., will feature all-digital print technologies powered by the JetINX printhead drive electronics and reticulation system, including Direct-to-Object printing solutions. “INX Digital will play an important role in our strategic plans at drupa 2016,” remarked Rick Clendenning, president and CEO of INX International Ink Co. “Our digital division offers a full palette of solutions for OEMs/private label, industrial and specialty customers, as well as alternative inks, advanced technologies and integrated services.” INX Digital produces many varieties of ink and specific formulations for graphics, industrial and packaging applications that include water-based, UV curable, solvent, EB cure, hybrids, coatings and primers. At drupa, a digital applications showcase will provide samples of packaging for tag and label, folding carton and flexible film, and industrial applications such as home decor and Direct-to-Object printing. The InkCups Helix rotary inkjet printer for straight-walled and tapered cylinders is ideal for the drink ware, cosmetic and industrial printing marketplace. It prints superior quality single or multi-color images at exceptional speeds, and the Helix reduces part set-up time with a single, advanced quick-change tooling fixture. The Bergstein DIGI 5 is a modular, single pass automated printer. A customer can build their own automation, choosing pre-treatment, the amount of ink colors, curing systems and other equipment. It prints a maximum width of 210mm at a speed of 23 meters per minute. The JetSet T-Series Conveyor Belt Scanning System is a powerful industrial platform. It is designed to fit most specialized graphic and specialty printing applications on both rigid and flexible materials, using an extremely strong and versatile scanning engine. The NW210-E Narrow Web UV Digital press is a small footprint integrated printer that offers best-in-class image quality performance with UV LED advanced technology to produce labels. Incredibly fast, it combines full color single pass inkjet output with an integrated laser die cutter. Advanced technology allows every label to be different for cost-effective, on-demand printing for short or long runs.
