NW210 inkjet UV digital narrow web press, TRIANGLE inks among products being showcased

INX Digital International will demonstrate and display products tailor-made for the FESPA Germany audience looking to integrate digital into their current manufacturing workflows. INX Digital (Stand Q51 – Hall 6) will offer a digital trifecta of brands representing EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions, Prodigy and TRIANGLE inks at the show, running from May 18-22 at the exhibition center in Cologne. The NW210 inkjet UV digital narrow web press will be demonstrated and is the newest machine to join the EVOLVE product roster. Prodigy printed samples for a wide variety of unique, customized industrial inkjet applications will be on display. TRIANGLE dealers from around the world will be available in the booth to explain the benefits of RXV eco-solvent wide format inks that will run on a Roland XF-640 large format printer, and MSS inks running on a Mimaki JV300 inkjet printer. The JetINX Printhead Drive and Ink Recirculation System is the engine that drives the integration services of Prodigy and EVOLVE. This technology is responsible for the NW210’s incredible speed that produces UV-LED cure single pass output at up to 80 feet per minute, said Jim Lambert, VP – Digital Division, for INX International Ink Co. “JetINX is the core of our EVOLVE concept, supplying components and printing subsystems to integrators, printer manufacturers and end users,” Lambert said. “The concept was developed to assist companies in the evolutionary process, from conventional impact printing to digital inkjet printing capabilities on a variety of non-standard surfaces. Whether a company wants to integrate digital technology into an existing operation or explore digital capabilities for the first time, INX is ready with products, technologies, systems and services to help companies EVOLVE to new levels of production excellence through digital printing. “At FESPA, we will display everything from ink delivery systems to printhead drive electronics and software,” he added. “These elements represent the types of technology we offer to help customers EVOLVE to new and exciting areas of non-contact printing.” The NW210 press will be demonstrated using narrow web UV inks on various label stocks. It offers best-in-class image quality performance and is available with a Spartanics X210 laser die-cutting station to provide brilliant color and easy separation of printed labels at a maximum width of 210mm. It also incorporates the latest in Xaar patented technology, including 15 Xaar 1002 printheads capable of printing seven drop sizes, and has five color ink channels – CMYK plus white. JetINX has helped Prodigy become a popular brand since being introduced to the marketplace in 2011. Today, this technology is seen in many original printing applications ranging from coroplast, corrugated, food packaging and labels, to metal decorating, narrow web, textiles and wallpaper/flooring. “Initially we saw the textile and tile industries migrate from conventional to digital inkjet technologies,” said Paolo Capano, INX Digital’s EMEA director. “Europe is now driving inkjet technologies where there is a higher concentration of industrial inkjet machinery. Thanks to these visible inkjet trends, other industries are now looking to adopt inkjet and Prodigy can answer those needs with a ready-made large portfolio of proven hardware and fluid solutions.” The TRIANGLE RXV and MSS inks will run on their respective printers in the booth and utilize different packaging options, said Susie Mendelssohn, North American sales manager and international marketing manager for INX Digital. “We will run the RXV inks on the Roland XF-640 wide format printer using 880ml cartridges, and the MSS inks on the Mimaki JV300 large format printer with a 2000ml Eco-Bulk package,” Mendelssohn noted. “This type of packaging allows users to get more from their ink compared to plastic liter bottles, and is easier on the environment with options to recycle the materials.” RXV eco solvent wide format inks have done well since being introduced earlier this year. High performance is one solid feature and they work with Roland large format printers, including the Roland Soljet Pro 4 series – the XR-640 and XF-640 – as well as the VersaEXPRESS and VersaCAMM VSi series. Color and chemically compatible with the Eco-Sol MAX 2 OEM inks, RXV offers a neutral balanced grey-scale that is equal to OEM ECO ink with fast dry times and low odor. MSS inks are cost effective when used in tandem with the Mimaki printers. They offer high quality performance and durability to produce terrific results, and are formulated to be color and chemically compatible with Mimaki SS21 inks. Fast drying and compatible with a wide range of vinyl banner media, MSS is available in CMYK and does not require re-profiling. Like all TRIANGLE brand inks, they are supported by INX’s worldwide outdoor durability and ink train warranties.
