New products have been developed to address a need in the marketplace
June 21, 2013

FESPA 2013 attendees in London looking for branded solutions with a proven track record, or new products that address today’s needs, can find both in the INX Digital Stand, C5S. New powerhouse MSS eco-solvent inkjet inks and SMF super wide multifunctional true solvent inks have joined the Triangle roster and will be on display, alongside the established and flexible EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions and Prodigy brand lines at the show, which runs from June 25-29 at the ExCel London Exhibition Centre. “FESPA 2013 is one the year’s largest events for the digital audience. We believe with the wide range of products we have available, there is something for everyone to see in our corner at the show,” said Paolo Capano, INX Digital’s EMEA director. “The new products have been developed to address a need in the marketplace. Our customers are very knowledgeable, very informed, and we listen to them. They have told us what they need and we have delivered digital solutions that will help their business and customers.” The Triangle line of alternative inks has a worldwide following, and the new MSS and SMF inks will only increase the popularity of the brands, indicated Avi Bukai, INX Digital’s Czech managing director, who said a variety of Triangle UV Curable inks will also be prominently featured. MSS inkjet inks are to be used in conjunction with Mimaki JV33 and JV34 wide format printers, and formulated to be color and chemically compatible with Mimaki SS21 inks. Fast drying, they offer a wide range of compatibility with vinyl banner media and no flushing or re-profiling is required. Available in CMYK, options include 440 ml cartridges, one liter bottles for use with the EasyFill Bulk system, or the Eco Bulk ink system that houses ink in a 2000ml bag-in-box format. These inks are supported by INX Digital’s worldwide outdoor durability warranty and Ink Train warranty for Triangle brand ink. SMF inks are designed for use with HP Scitex XL 1200 and XL 1500, GrandJet or TJ8300 printers, as well as VUTEk Solvent series printers. One of the biggest benefits is they reduce energy consumption with decreased drying temperature settings on the printer. For cost-minded print operations, these inks cost less to ship since they are non-hazardous and non-regulated in Europe. “At this time, SMF inks will be available only in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA),” said Bukai. “Their appeal is multi-fold, starting with being one ink that can serve a company’s various printer types. Performance wise, they do very well with many different substrate types. As for being cost-effective, they provide an extra kick to the bottom line by reducing energy costs during the drying process. SMF inks also give you the ability to produce special colors with high density output. “MSS inks, like SMF, are also cost-effective and a very eco-friendly product,” added Bukai. “The high quality MSS inks are in step with other Triangle brand line products. For performance, durability and outstanding results, you can’t beat it.” Since being introduced over two years ago, the Prodigy brand serves both the graphic arts and industrial side of the business. Many of these products are used for billboards, banners, vehicle and building wraps and other large format output, but digital package printing is a growing market. Recent developments in the packaging segment have included various opportunities with bottles and packaged goods used for test marketing, prototyping, serialization and mass customization. The EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions brand line of equipment continues to impress and meet the demand of printers. The NW140 UV digital narrow web press offers terrific performance with UV LED-cure single pass output at speeds up to 80 feet per minute on any label stock. It will be demonstrated at FESPA 2013 in tandem with a Spartanics X140 laser die-cutting station, and supports media up to 2mm thick on 3-inch cores up to 2 feet in diameter. INX Digital will also highlight the CP100 UV digital cylindrical printer with printed samples and a video demonstration.
