International Coatings’ Phantom Black is Back

International Coatings Company announces the return of its popular Phantom Black 716 ink.  The reformulated and improved ink delivers a creamy, deep-colored black with superior performance characteristics.

Phantom Black is non-phthalate (like all International Coatings inks).  It is fast flashing with low-tack and excellent opacity and provides a deep dark finish.  Phantom Black offers outstanding easy-to-print performance and achieves excellent penetration into fabrics when printed through fine mesh counts.

“The reformulated Phantom Black 716 represents the continuing evolution of our products to meet the needs of our customers,” said Mark Brouillard, International Coatings’ print product manager. “Phantom Black responds to marketplace and customer demands for a value-priced, high-pigment performance black ink.”

The company reported that all of the printers who beta tested the reformulated Phantom Black commented on its great opacity and how easy it was to print on both automatic and manual printers. Phantom Black 716 is available through International Coatings’ exclusive network of distributor companies.
