ICE USA: The International Converting Exhibition and InPrint USA: The Exhibition of Print Technology for Industrial Manufacturing have announced a partnership with the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM). The partnership will benefit both the association’s members and the shows’ exhibitors by bringing all parties together to explore what opportunities new ink technologies can bring to the industrial digital print and converting industries. ICE USA and InPrint USA will be co-located and held April 9-11, 2019 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, KY. InPrint USA is a leading exhibition for new technological breakthroughs across many industrial printing fields, including specialty, screen, digital and inkjet solutions. Exhibitors from around the world will showcase equipment, technology and services for printing on metal, plastics, foils, textiles, glass, ceramics, woods and other substrates in an individualized and cost-efficient way. “Inks are the backbone of industrial printing,” said Kevin Jackson, exhibition manager, InPrint USA. “This partnership with NAPIM continues InPrint’s role as the premier showcase for industrial print technologies. Manufacturers will see how inks and coatings can open new opportunities, such as the latest conductive inks used to print functional electronics, food-grade inks that can indicate spoilage, and changes in ink technology used to print directly to substrates.” ICE USA is North America’s leading converting exhibition, bringing more than 250 exhibitors together with thousands of packaging, paper, non-woven and self-adhesive industry professionals. Manufacturers will showcase the latest equipment and technology from all key areas of converting like web coating, laminating, slitting, rewinding, coating, pouch making and many more. “Ink manufacturers play an important role in the success of package printing for converters,” said Kristina Lorio, sales manager, ICE USA. “We are pleased to be partnering with NAPIM to bring the expertise of their members to the converting industry and provide their ink manufacturers with access to converter customers to research their needs to create new solutions.” NAPIM is the only national trade association for the printing ink industry, manufacturers of printing inks and supplier industries, whose purpose is to promote the general development and improvement of its members by fostering greater understanding and knowledge of the printing ink industry. Representatives from both ICE USA and InPrint USA will be present at NAPIM’s upcoming Fall Technical Conference, Oct. 9-11, 2018 and the immediately following Electronic & Conductive Ink Conference, Oct. 11-12. 2018, both at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, IL.
