HID, Friends & Partners to Provide RFID-Based Ticketing for Concert

HID announced its role as Official Technical Partner of Friends & Partners for the highly antici-pated “LIGABUE – La Notte di Certe Notti” event, which will be held at the iconic RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, Europe’s largest outdoor music venue, on June 21, 2025.

This event promises to be one of the largest musical gatherings in Italy next year, and it is expected to draw more than 100,000 attendees.

Ensuring seamless access while maintaining a high level of security is crucial to guarantee a positive experience for all participants. In collaboration with Friends & Partners, HID will implement an advanced RFID-based access control system designed to ensure safe and seamless entry for all attendees.

Each attendee will receive an RFID-enabled wristband, which will act as a personalized digital ticket, ensuring quick and secure access to the event. Additionally, a dedicated app will be developed by HID to enhance the fan experience by integrating essential event details with security features.
