Hatteras, a U.S.-based print, packaging, and fulfillment company specializing in high-volume direct mail, retail graphics, packaging, and marketing materials, has installed the HP PageWide Advantage 2200 with H&B Post Coater.

Hatteras can now run high-volume variable data programs with greater speed-to-market and consistency, helping win and retain time-sensitive work without compromising quality.

With the HP PageWide Advantage 2200, Hatteras has expanded into high-speed roll-to-roll production with near-line roll finishing, something it could not previously achieve at this level of speed and consistency.

By reducing touchpoints and improving accuracy, the operation is now built to handle quick-turn, high-volume, data-driven campaigns and programs with the speed and precision that define competitive advantage.

Building on its HP Indigo portfolio (HP Indigo 100K, HP Indigo 15K and HP Indigo 12K), Hatteras has transformed a previously fragmented production setup into a more integrated, production-ready environment capable of supporting daily, data-driven campaigns at speed.

“Hatteras demonstrates how print service providers are evolving to meet the growing complexity of modern marketing production,” said Vahaaj Khan, Head of Commercial Sales, HP Americas PageWide Inkjet Web. “By consolidating print and coating into a more integrated workflow, they have reduced production touchpoints, improved throughput, and created a more predictable environment for managing high-volume, data-driven campaigns.”

“By combining the HP PageWide Advantage 2200 with our HP Indigo portfolio, we have built a more connected and scalable production environment that allows us to move faster and take on more complex, highly versioned work,” said Bill Duerr, President of Hatteras.

Looking ahead, Hatteras plans to further develop a connected, automated production environment with HP technologies.
