ODIN introduced a new RFID partner program specifically designed to help VARs drive more revenue from RFID opportunities. The program includes patented RFID software and lead generation activity with a guarantee of new RFID revenue in the first year.

ODIN’s Preferred RFID Partner Program is designed for VARs and resellers with strong client relationships and deep industry expertise, but not focused on RFID engineering capability or building low-level RFID device software.

For VAR’s with minimal RFID software expertise, ODIN’s new workflow development kit (WDK) allows simple integration of the World’s most sophisticated RFID software foundation into a client specific environment. The patented EasyTAP and Intelligent Asset Management, “I AM,” have been deployed globally in thousands of locations with consistently high accuracy and reliability. ODIN’s flagship software has now been specifically redesigned for VARs to build applications upon and grow their RFID business.

“We have invested $50 million to create the most accurate, sophisticated and easy to integrate RFID software for clients and now partners. Part of that extensive design and engineering is to make a very simple development platform for RFID partners,” commented Grant Wagner, who runs worldwide sales at ODIN. “Making RFID successful and profitable hinges on knowing an industry or a client and being able to redefine productivity for that client’s specific needs. Our software enables a new level of productivity through RFID.”

“Partnering with ODIN has broadened our solution set and ability to deliver cost effective RFID solutions to our customer,” testified Tom O’Boyle, vice president at Miles Technologies one of ODIN’s founding partners. “The EasyTAP product controls RFID readers in our system and provides actionable RFID location data and intelligence to our application software. This enables our development team to concentrate on the user interface and business logic needed to meet the customer requirements without developing RFID reader-specific software.”

ODIN’s 2010 acquisition of Reva Systems was the start of a strategic software plan to combine the best components of RFID software. ODIN combined the best RFID software tools from both companies to enable the most accurate and easy to integrate RFID platform ever developed. ODIN’s software has been awarded nearly a dozen patents on the sophisticated algorithms that cover functions from eliminating stray RFID reads and telling when an RFID tag is stationary or moving, to configuring RFID readers to reporting read flows and timing, to dragging and dropping configuration of new RFID readers.
