FUJIFILM became a partner of Fortuna Düsseldorf for the first time.

FUJIFILM, with European headquarters in Dusseldorf/Heerdt, will become new Fortunapartner of the Bundesliga promoted team for the upcoming 2018-19 season.

“Fujifilm and Fortuna are linked by shared values. We have been rooted in Dusseldorf for more than half a century and we know that the performance of the team is always important,” Fujifilm Europe President and Managing Director Masato Yamamoto said.

“The Japanese group fits perfectly into our existing network of Japanese partners,” Fortuna CEO Robert Schäfer said.  “Football and capturing moments with instant cameras are a perfect match. Thus, experiences around Fortuna Dusseldorf will not only stay in the head but made tangible by the Instax instant photography. At the Fan-festival in the last training camp, we were already able to test the Instax instant cameras from Fujifilm and were really impressed by the result.”

The commitment – brokered by Marketer Infront – was initially agreed for the coming 2018-19 season, with an option for Fujifilm for the 2019-2020 season. In addition to its commitment to the football location in Düsseldorf, Fujifilm receives comprehensive communication services, in particular, LED TV banner advertising.
