Former HP Senior Exec Chris Morgan Joins Stratasys as Senior VP, Chief Marketing Officer

Stratasys Ltd., a leading global provider of 3-D printing and additive manufacturing solutions, has announced the appointment of Chris Morgan as senior vice president and chief marketing officer (CMO) for Stratasys. Morgan is a 25-year veteran of HP.
 
Effective immediately, Morgan will assume responsibility for Stratasys’ global marketing activities, including developing strategy and building a global team that will support the company’s worldwide expansion and rapid growth.
 
“As a senior vice president of HP’s multi-billion dollar graphics solutions business in the Printing and Personal Systems Group, Morgan was responsible for several thousand employees worldwide and helped drive HP from challenger to established market leader,” said Stratasys executive vice president, Dan Yalon, whom Morgan will report to. “His experience and skills are what we sought in a marketing leader.”
 
“Chris is an accomplished senior executive with an impressive background of building and growing multi-billion dollar businesses and developing high-performance organizations,” added David Reis, Stratasys CEO. “At HP he was instrumental in helping shape the transition from analogue to digital in the 2-D printer world.”
 
From 2004 through 2009, Morgan was a senior vice president for HP’s imaging and printing business in the Asia Pacific/Japan region. Between 2001 and 2004, he led worldwide marketing strategy and sales for HP’s imaging and printing business. In this role, he drove brand and demand activities globally and orchestrated global development of key channels and routes to market. He also led strategy development for the entire business.
