Flint Group announces its participation in the upcoming Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) INFOFLEX 2025 event, taking place on May 5-6 in Pittsburgh, PA.

At North America’s premier event for the flexographic printing industry, Flint Group will highlight a range of advanced inks and coatings tailored for labels, flexible packaging, and paper and board packaging.

“The rapidly evolving trends in the packaging industry, alongside shifting consumer behaviors, create both challenges and opportunities for package printing,” said Nicki Kerrigan, VP, sales & service, North America at Flint Group. “Consumers and brand owners are demanding more sustainable and circular packaging solutions, while also expecting high-quality print, functionality, and shelf appeal.

“Our solutions, presented at INFOFLEX 2025, empower North America’s flexo printers to tackle these challenges head-on and exceed the packaging demands of today and the future.”

Flint Group’s products are designed with sustainability in mind. Each product offers unique capabilities tailored to specific applications, enabling flexo printers to meet the needs of their customers while supporting circular economy goals.

For narrow web printers, Flint Group will feature Evolution De-inking Primer and Evolution Caustic-Resistant Overprint Varnish (OPV), which enhance the recyclability of labels by increasing material yield during the recycling process. The EkoCure Dual Cure range provides energy-efficient curing technology, simplifying the transition from traditional mercury (Hg) curing to UV LED.

For flexible packaging printers, Flint Group will showcase BPI-certified ZenCode CPT inks, formulated for compostable packaging applications. Additionally, FlexiPrint MV and FlexiStar MV solvent-based flexo inks are designed for printing on mono-materials, a key element in advancing circular packaging economies.

VertixCode Lam C502, a high-strength, high-adhesion non-NC lamination system, will also be featured, designed for flexible packaging films and pouches.

For fiber-based packaging, Flint Group’s Paper & Board Division will highlight the OctaCode ink series. Part of the AQUACode product portfolio, these water-based inks are ideal for applications requiring high resistance properties, such as aseptic and fresh food packaging, as well as food service and hygiene products.

“We’re excited to welcome flexo printers to booth 513, where we’ll showcase how our innovative products can help them deliver exceptional print quality while supporting the packaging industry’s sustainable and circular future,” Kerrigan added.
