Flint Group North America Publication Division announced price increases for all publication inks, effective July 15, 2006. The price increases range from 8 percent to 12 percent, depending on product type. These increases are necessary to offset the continuing escalation of raw materials, energy and freight costs.

“We have taken extraordinary measures to reduce costs within our manufacturing and delivery operations and to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products to our customers. Since Oct. 1, 2005, however, the North America Publication Division has received more than 80 raw material price increases from our global supply base of approximately 30 key suppliers,” said Mike Green, vice president – general manager of Flint Group North America Publication Division.

Mr. Green emphasized that Flint Group continues to be committed to delivering high-quality products and services to meet customer needs within the publication ink market.
