Flint Group Congratulates Winners of DFTA Award 2015

The award honors outstanding print results for packaging products. The DFTA jury evaluates the submitted print samples and defines the winners for a total of nine different categories. Criteria for judging include print quality, innovation, complexity and environmental aspects, among others.

Flint Group, as one of the sponsors of the DFTA award, would like to congratulate all winners of this friendly and professional competition. “We are happy for the winners, many of which are our customers, and amazed by the excellence and quality of the print samples,” said Thomas Isselhard, commercial director Central Europe, Flint Group Packaging and Narrow Web. “It is particularly exciting to see that our ink series contributed to the success.”

During the awards ceremony that took place on March 04th, 2015, in Böblingen, Germany, the majority of winning samples was printed with inks from Flint Group. The flexible packaging categories benefited from the use of Flint Group’s FlexiLam CF/1, which has recently received Full HD Flexo certification by Esko. Panther Print GmbH made use of an ink series out of Flint Group’s Premo Range of water-based printing products when creating the print sample. The result speaks for itself: Panther Print GmbH was awarded first prize in the category “Corrugated pre-print” for their print sample.
