FEIG Electronic has opened a new branch office in Bad Hersfeld, Germany. The specialist for contactless payment and contactless identification (RFID) is growing strongly, has a corre-spondingly high demand for engineers and must therefore react flexibly to the skills shortage. The company has found these specialists for contactless payment in the area of Bad Hersfeld.

Wolfgang Feig, company founder and owner of FEIG Electronic, as well as general manager Eldor Walk, presented the new rooms to numerous guests and provided information about the company’s new location and activities.

“Due to a conspicuous accumulation of job applications from the Bad Hersfeld area, we formed an employee-friendly concept: we simply offered our potential employees a job in their home town and met them halfway with the new location,” Walk said.

FEIG Electronic has been based in Weilburg for 50 years and has developed into a modern high-tech company with approximateky 280 employees. The owner-operated company operates worldwide and is now a technology leader in several markets.

In order to secure existing jobs and create new ones, the company is investing in the expansion of its product areas as well as entering new market segments. For that purpose, new employees are constantly being sought for all areas of the company, even in the currently top-selling area of con-trol technology and sensor technology.
