Epson’s SC-P5300 Wins 2024 TIPA Award for Best Professional Photoprinter

Epson announced that its SC-P5300 printer has been awarded the 2024 TIPA Award for Best Professional Photoprinter. The Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) recognized the SC-P5300 during the 2024 TIPA World Awards, which celebrate the best in photo and imaging technology across various categories.

The TIPA Awards are a hallmark of excellence in the industry, reflecting both the current state and the future direction of technology, products, and services that cater to professional, enthusiast, and amateur consumers. The awards are determined by a panel of experts from around the globe.

In its evaluation, TIPA praised the SC-P5300 for its ability to meet the high demands of professional photographers and fine art users.

“With the high-resolution cameras and scanners available today, labs, pro studios, galleries, and photo artists seek a printer that delivers prints that bring out all the color, tone, and sharpness of their images,” the organization stated.

The SC-P5300 features a 10-channel Micro Piezo print head and utilizes Epson’s Precision Dot Screening Technology with 10-color UltraChrome inks, including violet, to achieve an extensive color gamut and outstanding print quality.

The SC-P5300 offers separate ink channels for glossy or matte black, and a “carbon black” mode that enhances D-Max for vivid monochrome prints on glossy surfaces.
