Epson announced it will be showcasing its textile printing solutions and introducing a new professional printing solution for apparel decorators at Impressions Expo Long Beach from January 22-24.

In its booth (#449), attendees can talk with product experts, see live demonstrations highlighting both hardware and software compatibilities, and experience the “MakeON Studio,” a creative space spotlighting Epson’s portfolio of desktop dye-sub, DTG, and DTFilm and UV printers designed to empower apparel decorators to bring their unique, high-quality garments and textile goods to market.

Epson will be introducing a new printer, sharing a preview of forward-looking technology, and debuting the MakeON Studio experience at Impressions. In the MakeON studio, attendees can see select desktop printers in action and create their own one-of-a-kind designed goods.

Apparel products on display will include:

  • Direct-to-Film (DTFilm): Designed for reliability, the SureColor® G6070 is Epson’s first dedicated DTFilm printer. It offers a generous print width, ease of use, minimal maintenance, and consistent print quality allowing apparel decorators to scale up production and easily print oversized graphics.
  • Direct-to-Garment (DTG): The SureColor F3070 production DTG printer is designed for high volume garment decorators offering unparalleled productivity and quality with low operating costs.
  • Hybrid Direct-to-Garment (DTG) and Direct-to-Film (DTFilm): SureColor F-Series hybrid DTG and DTFilm printers, including the SureColor F1070 and SureColor F2270, are designed to increase overall production and expand output capabilities. They deliver outstanding image quality while reducing maintenance and operation costs.
  • Production Dye-Sublimation: Tailor-made for performance and versatility, the 44-inch SureColor F6470 is built to offer a combination of reliable operation, exceptional quality, and fast print output.
  • Desktop Dye-Sublimation: Truly turnkey solutions, the SureColor F170 and SureColor F570 provide virtually everything needed to start creating right out of the box. Designed to help businesses grow, they deliver outstanding print quality, bright, vivid color, and commercial-grade reliability – all in a compact footprint that can be set up practically anywhere.
  • Desktop UV: The SureColor V1070 empowers apparel decorators and creative entrepreneurs to expand their offerings by producing stunning, high-quality images directly on hard surfaces —wood, acrylic, metal, glass—or a specialty film to create crisp, colorful, ready-to-sell products.
  • Design & Print: Designed to simplify personalized product creation, Epson Craft Studio, part of the Epson Cloud Solution PORT ecosystem, provides a tablet-based, kiosk-style design experience. Users can upload and embellish photos from their phone, then send them to virtually any PORT-connected printer in the organization for a simple, cloud-connected, design-to-print production workflow ideal for retail and event print providers.

“The continued growth of DTFilm printing has solidified as an integral part of the apparel decorating workflow, driven by demand for personalization and on-demand production,” said Tim Check, senior product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America, Inc. “Apparel decorators require reliable, high-quality solutions, and Epson continues to provide these scalable printing solutions, designed to fit into any sized workflow that support business growth at every stage.”
