Enercon Industries Corporation has announced Plasma4, an ingenious new system that breaks through production and economical barriers with ecology in mind. The system is a result of Enercon’s decade-long expertise in engineering and commissioning production grade plasma systems.

The surface treating system adds value to engineered films, wovens and nonwovens by cleaning, etching and functionalizing surfaces. Rory Wolf, Enercon’s atmospheric plasma technology manager, said, “Early adopters of Plasma4 are impressed with the foresight put into the design, which eliminates many of the industry’s previous performance barriers.”

Plasma4 offers numerous features which benefit converters by minimizing cost of ownership and increasing profitability.

Outstanding features include:
• High and long lasting treatment.
• Industry’s most efficient use of gas chemistry.
• No electrode breakage.
• Automatic gap adjustment.
• No ozone.

Enercon is offering personal introductions to the technology at the K-Show at stand 13B91-4 and at CPP booth S466. Those interested in scheduling a lab trial may contact Rory Wolf directly at +1 262 255-6070. More information on the system can be found at www.plasma4.net.

Enercon Industries Corporation, headquartered in Menomonee Falls, WI, is a major manufacturer of equipment for the plastics, converting and packaging industries. The company supplies custom built corona and atmospheric plasma treating systems, as well as induction cap sealing systems.
