eMagin Corporation announced the results from its 2010 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, which was held on Nov. 18, 2010.

At this meeting, the company’s stockholders approved the (i) election of six directors named by the company, (ii) ratification of Eisner Amper LLP as the company’s independent auditors for the fiscal year 2010 and (iii) amendment of the company’s certificate of incorporation in order to eliminate classified board of directors.

Admiral Thomas Paulsen, who with Dr. Jack Goldman did not stand for reelection to the Board, commented, “We have enjoyed this time together with eMagin and the growth of OLED microdisplays in the marketplace. I credit the independence and experience of the Board and their concern for you, our shareholders, particularly over the past four plus years, in successfully managing oversight of the company’s transition from research and development into production. We welcome Les Polgar, an OLED industry leader and long time friend to the company, to the Board of Directors upon the approval of his election by our shareholders. Thank you, our shareholders, for your continued support to eMagin.”

Andrew Sculley, president and chief executive officer of eMagin added, “I thank Jack Goldman and Admiral Paulson for their dedication and valuable contributions to eMagin and its shareholders, and I am pleased to welcome a long time friend of the company and pioneer of the OLED industry, Les Polgar, to eMagin’s Board of Directors. Les brings deep scientific and technical knowledge to eMagin. He led the successful commercialization of the world’s first full color OLED display as founder and president of Eastman Kodak’s Display Products division, and brings extensive corporate strategy and operations experience to eMagin.”

Dr. Polgar, a native of Hungary, has been founder and executive officer of Talpra Consulting, since 1994, where he serves as a consultant to investors and technology companies. From 2005 to 2007, Dr. Polgar was chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors of Forth Dimension Displays Ltd. in Scotland. Since 2008, Dr. Polgar has taught the capstone Entrepreneurship and Business Development course in the MBA program at St. Mary’s College of California. He earned a PhD and MS in physics from Carnegie Mellon University, an MBA from the University of Connecticut, and dual BS degrees in physics/math (University of Michigan).
