E Ink has announced the launch of a new corporate identity which combines all of the E Ink portfolio companies worldwide under one brand. This new brand evokes E Ink’s commitment to innovation, emerging markets and the environment.

“We are very excited to unveil our new corporate identity and logo,” said Scott Liu, chairman of E Ink Holdings. “Our customer base has grown the past several years to encompass markets throughout the world, and this launch will further build on our global recognition and strengths.”

“We are building a world-class ingredient brand,” said Sriram Peruvemba, chief marketing officer of E Ink Holdings. “Our new logo represents a technology leader that innovates, collaborates and produces eco-friendly products globally.”

The corporate signature is a stylized design of the E Ink name and incorporates duality as its theme. The drop of ink on the top right of the “E” represents what writing means to cultural heritage. The connection of the ink drop to the “E” represents the merging of traditional printed text with electronic media.

The new E Ink logo design emphasizes the cultural legacy passed on by technology. E Ink embraces technological advances while respecting human life, human culture and human nature.

The new logo will be premiered at the Society for Information Display (SID) Display Week, May 15-20, 2011, in Los Angeles, CA.

During Display Week, E Ink will show a wide variety of products currently in high-volume production using E Ink EPD modules, as well as featuring the innovative possibilities for product designers interested in adopting the technology for their applications. In addition, several of E Ink’s electronics ecosystem partners are scheduled to speak in the E Ink booth and showcase their products.

The E Ink family of products can be seen at booth 727. For more information regarding Display Week 2011, please visit the SID website at www.sid.org.
