E Ink Honored with Team Massachusetts Economic Impact Award

E Ink Holdings took home the Silver 2013 Team Massachusetts Economic Impact Award for the Northeast region, awarded annually by MassEcon. The awards celebrate companies that have made an outstanding contribution to the Massachusetts economy.

“Being recognized for our contributions to the Massachusetts economy is truly an honor,” said Giovanni Mancini, director of product management for E Ink Holdings. “E Ink started out of the MIT Media Lab where we received incredible support, and we have always been proud to be based in Massachusetts. It is only natural for us to expand our business in Massachusetts, and continue to be a part of the community that has supported us. Our new E Ink Innovation Center in Billerica is the perfect example of the impact we hope to continue to achieve in the region. The new facility enables us to develop more products and create more jobs, while drawing attention to the significant technological impact companies in Massachusetts are having on the world. And we get to do all of this while investing in the communities we call home; it’s a win-win situation for everyone.”
