E Ink Adds New VP Of Global Sales To Its Management Team

E Ink Corporation announces the addition of Ed Fisher as vice president of sales.

“Ed joins our team at a time when our company is experiencing rapid growth,” said Russ Wilcox, president and CEO, “His experience with global sales and marketing in the semiconductor and personal computer industries and his knowledge of consumer electronics retail channels will further strengthen E Ink’s ability to support its customers as they deliver ground-breaking products with electronic paper displays.”

Mr. Fisher has over 20 years sales and marketing experience in the personal computer and semiconductor industries. Prior to joining E Ink, he held the position of vice president, worldwide consumer sales & marketing at Advanced Micro Devices. He also held positions of senior vice president of International Business Unit at Gateway, Inc. as well as president & director of Gateway’s subsidiaries in Japan, Europe and Latin America, responsible for expanding existing business and launching new businesses internationally.

Mr. Fisher was also vice president of global sales & marketing at eMachines, Inc., director of U.S. retail sales and marketing and various sales, marketing and account management positions at Intel Corporation. He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering at the University of the Pacific and received a masters of management degree at Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business.
