DuPont is showcasing its PN1000 ink series at the PRINTING United Expo 2024 event. The recently launched ink series is a low viscosity, water-based pigment inkjet for commercial printing that has been formulated with their proprietary technology and is compatible with industry-standard drying technologies.

This launch will be part of DuPont’s 35th-anniversary celebration, during which DuPont has seen its Artistri Digital Inks among the leaders in the field in digital inkjet inks. DuPont’s announcement is a testament to its dedication to providing innovative solutions to customers.

This new ink set is suitable for book, direct mail, and transactional printing applications and prints a rich black while also delivering a large color gamut with minimal to no drying, enabling printers to achieve higher speeds and realize increased productivity. Additional benefits include:
• High optical density on various paper substrates
• High image quality
• High durability
• Reliable jetting sustainability.

“The reason we chose PRINTING United Expo to present the new PN 1000 ink series is because the show is one of the most dynamic and comprehensive printing events in the world,” said Rob Simpson, Americas & EMEA business leader at Artistri Digital Inks. It brings together the print community to experience the latest printing technologies and applications in one place. That means that every application, technology, and trend will be on full display; from wide format to apparel and everything in between.”

DuPont will also exhibit other products from the Artistri portfolio at PRINTING United Expo 2024, such as the P1600 ink set, the premium pigment inkjet inks for Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing.

“Within textile printing over the past few years, DTF technology has been rapidly adopted due to its versatility. Clearly, DTF is here to stay,” added Gabriela Kim, Artistri global marketing manager. “The P1600 ink series were specially designed for this technology, delivering bright images while giving the consistency and reliability for printers to minimize maintenance time and cost.”
