DS Smith Announces Proposed Acquisition of Parish Manufacturing

Parish’s focus is on bag-in-box for liquids for food, beverage, water, food service, and chemical industries.

DS Smith announced the proposed acquisition of Parish Manufacturing Inc.
 
Parish is a US manufacturer and supplier of bag-in-box systems. Located in Indianapolis, IN, Parish’s focus is on bag-in-box and custom packaging for different liquids for the food, beverage, water, food service, and chemical industries.
 
The acquisition, which is subject to certain customary completion conditions, complements DS Smith’s leading position in the flexible packaging and liquid dispensing markets under its Rapak brand. Completion of the proposed acquisition is expected during the first quarter of 2017.
