Dr. Mouhcine Kanouni Gives Talk at CPIPC

Dr. Mouhcine Kanouni and coworkers Nayib Homayden and Annette Baker from Clariant attended the CPIPC Technical Meeting and Dinner on Feb. 20, 2024 at La Hacienda De Los Fernando’s Restaurant, 1571 W Lake St, Addison, IL.

Dr. Kanouni was presented with Chicago Printing Ink Production Club, appreciation and plaque, by Erik Olsen, CPIPC president, for his presentation “Clariant – Biopolymer Based Additives for Printing Inks,” which displayed alternatives to PTFE.

The presentation allowed for an understanding of property comparisons that rival the use of PTFE additives. Dr. Kanouni is an excellent speaker, and the audience appreciated the presentation very much.

Next up for the club, at the Tuesday, March 19,  2024 Technical Meeting, Dr. Kai Yang will present “Evonik – Bio Renewable Content of Additives for Ink” presentation after dinner at La Hacienda De Los Fernandez.
