Dr. Michael Carmody Joins Intrinsiq Materials

Intrinsiq continue to strengthen their conductive inks formulation and PE application team

Intrinsiq Materials announced that Dr. Michael Carmody has joined the company as the director of ink research and applications at the Rochester, NY facility. Dr. Carmody will be assisting clients with their adoption and integration of Intrinsiq’s nanoparticle based inks, initially focusing on the CI-002 inkjet copper and CP-001 screen print copper products.

Dr. Carmody received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Detroit and a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from The Ohio State University. He worked three decades in the Research and Development Laboratories at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. His work has focused on the development of novel materials for imaging systems and properties and development of inkjet inks. His management experiences include Laboratory Head of Kodak Dye Research and Director of the OLED Devices R&D lab. He has served as adjunct faculty at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Monroe Community College, and SUNY Brockport.
