Dr. Alain Schumacher Named Chair of New OE-A Board

The new board will be introduced at the OE-A General Assembly on Feb. 24, 2025 in Munich.

The members of the OE-A (Organic and Printed Electronics Association) appointed Dr. Alain Schumacher, IEE, as the new chair of the Board of Directors at the end of January. Dr. Luke Pan, Brilliant Optoelectronic Technology, is the new vice chair for Asia. Dr. Carsten L. Herzhoff, Lohmann, and Dr. Chloé Bois, ICI, were elected as vice chair Europe and North America, respectively.

Dr. Schumacher thanked Stan Farnsworth, PulseForge, for his six years of leadership at the OE-A board of directors.

Under Stan’s leadership, the OE-A working group marketing was established, reflecting the growing importance of market-related tasks and topics for our industry to support members’ marketing efforts.
