Japan’s Dainippon Ink & Chemicals (DIC) has commissioned a $2.8 million (U.S.) ink factory in the northern Binh Duong Province in Vietnam.

The factory located in a 7,000 square meter site in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park will produce offset, gravure and flexo inks for the local market.

DIC Vietnam is among 228 subsidiaries around the world of the DIC Group, which ran an ink plant in Vietnam from 1961 to 1975.
